Crawford Distillery Overview
For Neil and Alyssa Crawford, a dream became a reality when Crawford Distillery opened their doors in 2018. When opening the micro-distillery in Havre, Montana, the goal was to bring people together over fine spirits and great conversation and they have surpassed expectations. In such a short amount of time and with an outpouring of support from the local community, the business has grown and expanded into a new location. This local business operates with the Havre and greater Montana community in mind. A number of their spirits have taken their names from local features, including the Milk River, Old Fort Assinniboine, and the Great Northern Railroad. With a great lineup of spirits, Crawford’s invites guests to stop by the tasting room for some of their unique cocktails. Their Maple Berry Mojito, Havre Sunrise and Huckleberry Cucumber have rave reviews! Havre was incorporated in 1893, serving as a major railroad service center for the Great Northern Railway. The location was a perfect midpoint between Minneapolis – St. Paul and Seattle. The town is settled along the Montana Hi-Line on Highway 2 about 115 miles northeast of Great Falls and just south of the Canadian border. While you’re in Havre, consider exploring the Wahkpa Chu’gn Buffalo Jump, Fort Assinniboine, Bear Paw Battlefield or Havre Beneath the Streets.
